Have you ever had something that you just couldn’t believe how amazingly good it tasted?
Well, let me tell you about a place I found while on vacation visiting some family in the Northeast. While traveling through Plymouth, Massachusetts I stopped at a cupcake shop that I remembered seeing on the TV show “Cupcake Wars” called Cupcake Charlie’s.
I had to see if these cupcakes were as good as they said they were on the show.
As soon as I stepped in the door I knew I was going to be eating more than just one! On the back wall was a quote that read
“Life is Short… Eat a Cupcake,” exactly what I was thinking!
The aroma was so incredible that I couldn’t order fast enough, and when I took my first bite…MMM…MMMMM… It was like a little piece of heaven wrapped up in a cupcake! Every bite was so incredibly fresh and flavorful that I had to order a few more for the road trip ahead on me.
On my quest for good cupcakes I found some tasty recipes from our own Test Kitchen that are de-licious and fun to make, too! Have you tried our Peanut Butter Chocolate Cupcakes? Or how about the super-fun Banana Split Cupcakes?
Do you like baking cupcakes, or at least eating them? Any good cupcake shops you’ve been to that you’d like to share?
I’m on a quest to seek out cupcake shops wherever I go, but so far nothing has compared to the delicious little place by the water’s edge in Plymouth, Massachusetts.

my taste for yummy cupcakes, came with the advent of walmart’s provision of the huge ones, at least in the midwest. one would be, a total breakfast.
i started watching you, on tv in quincy, IL. channel 7? channel 10? woww… how one forgets!
i didn’t believe cooking, could be so easy. and with a variety of menus.. i am single & like to use crock pot, aka slow clooker. nothing fancy. just tasty, down to earth, midwest fare. i have many, thanks to you, ventures awaiting my decision to branch out, into other diverse main courses.
i save your selected recipes, in designated files. fun to peruse them, when wanting a different menu.
thanks!!
