This is a big week for family get-togethers! With Passover starting tonight and lasting for 8 days, and Good Friday and Easter later this week, everybody seems caught up in the flurry of preparing for big holiday meals.

No matter what holidays we celebrate now and all throughout the year, there are always “gotta have it” foods that we look forward to. That’s probably ’cause of the comforting memories they bring back of times when we enjoyed these traditional foods with our families and friends.

Mamas Chicken Soup RE Making Memories with Food

There's nothing as comforting as Mom's Chicken Soup, especially at Passover

There might be a favorite Easter ham recipe like our Apple Raisin Glazed Ham or maybe hot cross buns that you always like to make. Or maybe Passover “isn’t Passover” without Mom’s Chicken Soup or beef brisket.

Cranberry Hot Cross Buns RE Making Memories with Food

You're gonna love our variation on the traditional Hot Cross Buns. These are made with dried cranberries. Yum!

Of course, it’s always great to throw in some new recipes to keep our holiday menus interesting and fresh. Often these become traditions with us and our family’s next generation, so check out our yummy traditional and new recipes for Easter and Passover.

The Mr. Food team and I wish you all the best as you celebrate the spring holidays this week.
