Yay! We get a long weekend this week, in honor of our country’s birthday!
Not too many people refer to July 4th as Independence Day anymore, but that’s what we’re celebrating this weekend: winning our country’s independence from Britain.

Just found your blog. Didn’t realize Mr Food had one. I have almost all of the Mr Food cookbooks. The firecracker slaw sounds really good. I am going to try it.
