15 Reasons to Love Fall

Hi, all! Beth here, today! There are many reasons I love fall. This fall, however, I’ve discovered yet another reason I love it – pumpkins, and everything pumpkin. Pumpkin patches, pumpkin lattes, and carving pumpkins – I love them all.

I particularly love this collection of pumpkin recipes that the Mr. Food Test Kitchen recently compiled. Only problem is, I’m having trouble picking just one recipe to make! Check it out and let me know what you think.

This year, my roommates and I have decided that decorating in honor of all of the fall festivities is a must, and so we’ve decided we have to carve pumpkins to display on our balcony for everyone to see. Of course, using those big scary knives that are necessary for pumpkin-carving is a little overwhelming, but I’m sure we’ll get the hang of it. (Note: Even though I’m Mr. Food’s granddaughter, his expertise with kitchen knives, is not something I’ve acquired… I guess it’s not genetic!)

Being that I am a pre-professional teacher and being that I am quite type-A, I love lists (if you can tell there’s a list coming up, you are incredibly perceptive!). I’ve compiled a list of the many reasons I love fall and the many reasons that I hope this season makes you as happy and light as it makes me! Here goes:
